This month see's bosscat launch in one of Australia's premier pet retailer's Petstock.
The Petstock story
Built on humble beginnings in regional Victoria, Petstock was born in 2002, eleven years after the Young family took ownership of Ballarat Produce in 1991. Brothers David and Shane built the business on family values and a passion for pets; the ingredients of the Petstock DNA.

Why we do it? Because at Petstock pets are family, and you go above and beyond for family.
We approached Petstock in May 2023 with the excitement of securing some retail space in some or all of their 250+ stores. Sounds easy! But we were met with a few challenges to overcome.
Space - there are no two Petstock's the same! each has a different footprint from the other. This makes ranging hard for the Space Team at head office. After some back and forth we were able to secure 35 of their larger stores in QLD, NSW, ACT & VIC. A huge opportunity for us.
Ranging - we have 8 designs in the range, each available with carpet or sisal posts, premium or Eco-Friendly carpet and a selection of colours. This was simply not going to fit! We decided to cut the range back to 5 designs, carpet posts and one colour in premium carpet called Mountain Grey which is exclusive to Petstock.
Training - with locations all across Australia, staff training was always going to be a time consuming and costly exercise. However it is essential to the success of the brand so we jumped in the van and hit the road. The Petstock team were amazing! Very welcoming, supportive of the brand and excited to have our range in store. Training was a very positive experience for everyone involved.
We look forward to seeing what Petstock can do with the bosscat brand over the coming months and hopefully years.
