October saw the launch of bosscat in PETQuarters. An independent family owned business set up by Shane Spruce in 2011.

We're Local - Proudly owned and operated by locals! We opened our first store in Glendale in 2011, and have since grown to seven stores across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley. The bloke who opened our first store is still managing the business.
We Love to Serve you - We're big on range and variety, but we're HUGE on customer service. Our friendly staff are happy to spend time with you to ensure that we can provide you with the right products and advice so that you and your pet enjoy your life together.
We Employ Experts - Our staff are all pet parents and animal lovers themselves.
We Support Rescue - We partner closely with local pet charities like Hunter Animal Rescue, and we are big advocates of pet rescue and adoption. In some stores we foster cats and kittens who are available for adoption through a variety of local cat rescue organisations.
We are a One-Stop Shop - No matter what your pet is, we have a full range of foods and accessories for you! We pride ourselves on stocking a wide variety of brands and products so that when you shop with us you can be confident you will find what you're looking for! And if in the unlikely event you can't find it, we'll happily special order for you!
Having travelled through the central coast many times, I always noticed these prominent, colourful and visibly thriving pet shops called PETQuarters. When you walk in your met with a friendly 'hello' from a team member, then stand there for a moment confused as to which way to go. They're big, really big! And full of everything you can think of and heaps you never knew existed or needed. Bright lights and well merchandised isles fill the store and while I'm not a 'fish person' I am always drawn to their impressive aquarium section. Now this is a place bosscat could thrive!
Shane and the team were a pleasure to meet, interested in what we did and saw a good opportunity to offer their customers an Australian made range of cat scratchers. We decided on 5 products from our Eco-Friendly range, sitting on a pallet display with some simple signage and branding.
All 8 PETQuarters stores now carry bosscat. All team members are full of knowledge ready to pass onto their customers.
